Privacy Policy
Your enquiry, your details and your home remain confidential. Valet Home Organisation explains here what information we collect, how we use it and how you can ask to see or correct it.
This policy applies from the date it is published. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), where those rules apply to our business.

What We Collect and Why
We collect details you choose to share when you contact us by website form, phone or email. We use them to respond, plan services and keep a record of our work.
Enquiries and consultations
- Your name, email, phone number, preferred service and contact preferences.
- Property type, rooms involved, storage needs and the goals you describe.
- Consultation notes, measurements and scheduling details needed to plan the work.
We only take photographs of your home with your permission. Photos and consultation notes are used to plan or carry out the agreed service, not for public promotion without your separate consent.
Messages, website use and marketing
We may keep relevant email or phone notes so we can follow up accurately. Marketing messages are sent only where you have opted in, and you can withdraw that choice at any time.
02 / Safeguards
Storage, Security and Retention
We keep enquiry and service records in systems used for business communications and administration. Access is limited to people who need the information to respond to you or provide the agreed service.
We take reasonable steps to protect records from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Service providers may process information for tasks such as email or appointment scheduling. We choose providers with privacy and security information available and share only what those tasks require.
How long we keep records
We retain information for as long as it is needed to manage your enquiry or service, meet legal record-keeping duties, and address any follow-up. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete information; some records may need to be kept where the law requires it.
We do not set a separate public retention period for home photographs. We handle them as confidential service information and consider deletion requests individually.
